@shadowslash55 I would argue that Syd Barrett was the most eccentric one who most made them unique. There would be no Pink Floyd without Syd Barrett even though his departure was early. Gilmour, Waters and Wright were all geniuses too and when the band became too dysfunctional with Syd, phasing in David Gilmour in his place was a monumental step towards the sound of their later work.

This is that song that when ever you listen to it, it makes you want to cry! Pink floyd (best band created)! R.I.P. Richard Wright.

the pulse concert is arguably one of the greatest liver performances ever. along with the Doors final show at the Whiskey a Go Go, when they performed The End uncut and uncensored.

@lololiet Sounds about right, although I think it was early. Because Momentary Lapse of Reason was recorded in 1987, I know he wasnt in MLOR or The Division Bell. So it was definetly after 87'. Im 17 now, and I loved this VHS for awhile. It got me started on guitar. I know alot about Floyd for my age. Haha. Gilmour is one of the best guitarists out there. |
